Workplaces Respond to Domestic & Sexual Violence

Cost Calculator

Due to the prevalence of domestic and sexual violence and stalking, in almost any workplace there are likely to be individuals who are affected by the violence. Moreover, the violence affects not only the victims, but those around them, including co-workers and employers. Employers need to be aware of violence that may already be imposing costs related to safety and productivity without their knowledge. Employers and unions can then take steps both to support employee-survivors and respond appropriately in the instances where they discover that the perpetrator is on their payroll or is a union member.
